About this event

Abstract: Yes you have read it right! You might be wondering what is left to make the Internet great again when the Internet represents one of the greatest success story of our generation. The Internet represents a critical infrastructure connecting a staggering 4 billion people enabling access to remote health care, education, employment, e-governance, digital economy, social networks, and more. However, the Internet is'nt yet a success story - there are still 4 billion people left that are yet to be connected! My talk focusses on the key challenges the Internet faces today to grow and will talk about some of the ongoing work that we are carrying out in the Networking for Development (N4D) lab at University of Cambridge, where we are striving to work with the rest of the Internet community to make the Internet an exemplar success story for generations to come.
