Roger Knott

We are very sad to inform you that Dr Roger Knott, a member of staff who was based in the Department of Computer Science, has died.

Roger joined the Department in 1984 and significantly contributed to teaching and research activities, as well as supporting many students undertaking projects and placements.

He retired from his full-time role in 2008, but continued to work with the Department as a Visiting Fellow.

Our thoughts and sincere condolences go to the friends and family of Roger and all those at the University who knew him.

If you’re a member of staff and would like some support, the Employee Assistance Programme is available if you need it. The Centre for Faith and Spirituality is also available for those who would like to speak to someone.
