About this event

Abstract

This research will cover various application areas of artificial intelligence (AI) for medical and healthcare technology applications.  This includes various related topics such as (1) Virtual Reality (VR) using Oculus Rift for surgical training in hip replacement and needle insertion. (2) Medical image analysis using computer vision (OpenCV) and image processing for medical data including MRI, CT and Ultrasound scans. (3) Skill assessment of surgical performance and feedback for clinicians. (4) Data Science and time series analysis (TSA) for medical and surgical time series. (5) Wearable devices technology for human motion monitoring (HMM) in stroke rehabilitation. (6) Human body modelling using patient specific data for underweight or obese patients. (7) Da Vinci Robot and medical Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS).
