Senior Lecturer now a Guest Editor of ChERD
Dr Gul Ozcan-Taskin, Senior Lecturer within the Department of Chemical Engineering here at Loughborough University, is the Guest Editor of the special Issue of Chemical Engineering Research and Design, (ChERD.)
In June 2017, Dr Ozcan-Taskin was the Co-Chair of the International Symposium on Mixing in Industrial Processes, (ISMIP IX.)
ISMIP IX took place in Birmingham, (above image), following on from a series of previous successful events held across the world. Continuing its long tradition as a truly global event, 134 delegates attended the symposium from countries including Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal and the USA, with a remarkable presence from industry.
Following Co-Chairing this successful event, Dr Ozcan-Taskin (pictured left), was asked to be the Guest Editor of a Special Issue of Chemical Engineering Research and Design, (ChERD.)
ChERD is a publication of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, which aims to be the principle international journal for publication of high quality, original papers in chemical engineering.
