As stated on the New Scientist Live event website:

"The New Scientist Live event will have More than 140 speakers and 100 exhibitors come together in one venue to create an unrivalled atmosphere and energy, packed with thought-provoking talks, ground-breaking discoveries, interactive experiences, workshops and performances.

This is an unparalleled opportunity to discover the very latest tantalising breakthroughs from the worlds of science and technology.

New Scientist Live promises to be an unforgettable festival of fresh innovations, fascinating observations, and groundbreaking space- and ocean-exploration under one roof.

It’s also an exclusive chance to get hands-on with science in action. Where else can you learn to extract your own DNA sample or explore the human brain in VR? So whether you’re a school kid or a big kid, NSL welcomes all ages and abilities, because you don’t need to be an academic to enjoy what’s happening in the world around you and the universe beyond."
