Inspiring Creativity: Graphic Communication and Illustration at Loughborough University
Loughborough University student Daniel Scott talks about being inspired on an open day by lecturer Simon Downs, and the importance of suspending judgement.
Graphic Design at Loughborough emphasises understanding the communication value, the contexts and the applications of the image.
Our approach combines technical and semantic explorations of visual communication (with an emphasis on drawing) with hands-on experience of business-facing, applied communication design. Students also have the opportunity to study art history and visual culture and benefit from research carried out across the Creative Arts.
