‘Tis the season to be creative...

The results of the School’s Christmas card competition have been announced!

Sarah Rathbone’s design, which features a reindeer and greetings for a number of different festivals, was the winning entry and will be used for this year’s School Christmas card. She also received a £50 Amazon voucher.

Sarah, a second-year Graphic Communication and Illustration student, said her design was inspired by her interest in architecture and geometric design, which she used to highlight the structure of the reindeer’s face.

She also said: “Every year my brother tells me about how different people celebrate Christmas – I find it really interesting that not everyone's Christmas is the same.”

All students in the School of the Arts, English and Drama were invited to enter the competition.

Lucie Baker-Wyse, a third-year Graphic Communication and Illustration student, was highly commended for her entry and received a £25 Amazon voucher.
