Book Launch: Case Files of the Supernatural

Presented By Author and MA Creative Writing student Kathryn Cockrill

About this event

Join us to celebrate the launch of Case Files of the Supernatural, the first published work of MA Creative Writing student, Kathryn Cockrill at an evening of readings, Q&A and boook signings.

Case Files is a collection aimed at young adults with each story exploring a different aspect of the supernatural. Kathryn began writing the anthology while in the second year of her undergraduate English degree, also at Loughborough, and took inspiration from holidays to places such as Belgium and Canada. She finally hit on the idea of a narrator – government agent Natalia Romano – to bring the collection together, and has now secured a publishing deal with Schreyer Ink.

Paperback copies of Case Files will be available to purchase (cash only, please) and there will be readings by Kathryn and other Loughborough students, staff and alumni, Q&A sessions and book signings. For those who like cake - the Harry Potter Soceity will be selling refreshments to raise mony for children's charity Lumos.

You can find out more about Kathryn's work here.
