Alexandra Walsham is Professor of Modern History at Cambridge University. She is co-editor of Past and Present, and is leading several funded projects focused on early-modern British history: ‘The Reformation of the Generations: Age, Ancestry and Memory in England c. 1500-1700’ (Leverhulme), and ‘Remembering the Reformation’ (AHRC).
Professor Walsham has published widely on the social, religious, and economic history of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Britain, and will give the series of Ford Lectures at the University of Oxford in 2017 and 2018.
