Some weddings; some funerals: matters of hope and concern in the humanities
- Martin Hall Seminar Room, Loughborough University
About this event
It is customary to be glum about the future of the humanities and there’s plenty to be glum about (not least Brexit). But it would be well to take a more balanced view of prospects for the humanities over the next decade. The talk will discuss things of cheer and things of worry, inviting a look at the humanities in the UK in the framework of some international developments.
