I am a Manufacturing and Architectural Modelling Apprentice at Loughborough University. I support the Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering students with their model making throughout their degree. As well as supporting the students in their model making, I also supervise the students when they are using the machinery in the analogue workshop to make sure that they are used safely.
I started my career working in a local garage part-time.I completed a motor vehicle course in school and in college, however I wanted to expand my skills and knowledge further, so I decided to enrol on to an Engineering course during my second year at college.
I then worked for Bombardier in Derby for 2 years building trains. I then decided that I wanted to pursue a full career in Engineering and decided to become an Advanced Apprentice which I successfully gained at Loughborough University.
