Profile

Career

I was born and raised in Chengdu China and then moved to France when I was a teenager. I received my BEng degree from Henri Poincaré University and MEng degree from INSA in France. After having worked as a chartered structural engineer for several years, I made a transition to research in construction information technology, in which civil engineering and artificial intelligence intersect. After completing my doctoral thesis on digital twin at the University of Cambridge, I joined the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering at Loughborough University as a Lecturer in Digital Construction. Being an active researcher in digital construction, I have a particular interest in construction IT, digital technology, artificial intelligence, and their applications in civil engineering and construction personnel.
