My research focuses on sustainable infrastructure projects.

Thematic interests include transformative technologies, infrastructure economics, project management and finance, infrastructure policy and politics, and public-private partnership. I am keen about the front-end of infrastructure projects.

Profile

Mr Obike obtained BSc (Hons) Industrial Chemistry from Imo State University Owerri, BEng (Hons) Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of West London, and MSc International Business Management from the University of Gloucestershire.

Over the last 15 years, he has worked in the renewable energy sector in Nigeria, and with major civil engineering businesses in the United Kingdom including Murphy Group, Bouygues, Balfour Beatty, Trant Engineering and Morgan Sindall where he delivered optimal results.

Mr Obike has delivered flood defence, smart highways, offshore wind farm, energy-from-waste, solar farm, railway, overhead lines, underground cables and substation projects. He is currently leading Consulberg, a multidisciplinary consultancy in the delivery of infrastructure projects.
