Profile
I was a student at the University of Liverpool, where I obtained a Master of Engineering (Honours) degree in Civil Engineering. I completed two large projects during my study in Liverpool which involved looking at numerically modelling flood risks in UK catchments.
Following my MEng degree, I became a doctoral research student at Loughborough University as a member of the Water Research Group. My current PhD research focuses on the rating uncertainties in streams, more specifically the potential effect of factors like submerged vegetation on the rating relationship of streams.
I am currently a PGR Rep as well as secretary of the School Researcher Hub Committee.
Professional affiliations
- Member of British Geomorphology Society
Key collaborators
My research and enterprise activities are conducted with a range of academic and stakeholder partners, including:
- Environment Agency
- Centre of Ecology and Hydrology
