Summary of expertise

My research interests lie in 3D printing in construction, automated & robotic construction, and high-value construction manufacturing. My current research areas include: i) digital workflow and robotic control of hybrid (additive, subtractive etc.) manufacturing process for large-scale concrete components; and ii) system engineering management for large-scale additive manufacturing process. Up to now, I haved published nearly 10 journal articles, including 3 in the top-ranked international journal in the field of construction automation - Automation in Construction. I am now currently working as a post-doctoral research associate under Professor Richard Buswell to deliver two significant projects that will deliver the next generation of Hybrid 3D Concrete Printing processes. Prior to this, I obtained the PhD in Engineering Management (for 3D Concrete Printing) at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China (2019).

Profile

I started my academic career in October 2019 after I got a doctoral degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. I am now currently working as a post-doctoral research associate under Professor Richard Buswell to deliver two significant projects that will deliver the next generation of Hybrid 3D Concrete Printing processes.
