Research and expertise

The focus of my research is sustainability and the circular economy. I am currently the Research Associate leading the University's contributions to the Horizon 2020 sponsored C-SERVEES project and collaborating closely with EU project partners to implement the C-SERVEES circular economy business models in four large-scale demonstrations across Europe.

I graduated with a First Class Honours BA in Industrial Design and Technology from Brunel University London in 2016 and an MSc with Distinction in Construction Project Management from Loughborough University in 2020.

I began working as a part-time Research Assistant in the ABCE School at Loughborough University while completing my MSc and went on to become a full-time Research Associate at the latter after graduating. 

I have five years of professional experience in sustainability consulting for product design and the built environment. I have pursued a career in sustainability consulting, with specific expertise in the circular economy and green building for architecture and construction. This experience has given me a well-rounded knowledge of sustainability within the built environment, strengthened my professional work, and deepened my contextual understanding of my research. I am particularly interested in low carbon building lifecycles and the practical implementation of the circular economy.
