We undertake research at a range of scales from Kolmogorov to continental. Our work spans the fundamental physics of water science, water quality, chemistry and treatment, and associated management and policy issues.
We have a long-standing reputation for work in water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and an emerging international reputation in disaster risk and resilience.
Our work is funded by a range of stakeholders from research councils through to charities, NGOs and the World Bank.
