Propulsion labs
Four key facilities are available specifically for undergraduate teaching which are all used to support both final year and run laboratories attached to thermodynamics and propulsion related modules.
These facilities include a fully instrumented turbojet, a high pressure nozzle laboratory, a centrifugal fan laboratory and a unique 3-stage axial compressor.
The four facilities are supported by a wide range of instrumentation.
