All the business courses that we provide are for a duration of four years. This includes a compulsory ‘placement year’ in year three allowing you to explore the world of work or study abroad at one of our many partner universities.

For the last 40 years Loughborough have integrated a placement in their degrees, and we have a wide range of employers targeting Loughborough students for placement roles. We work with over 2000 employers in over 20 countries, who will give you an opportunity to gain critical experience in a working environment. Subsequently, around a third of our students are offered a graduate job with their placement employer.

We also provide award-winning careers support, including the UK’s largest annual graduate and placements fair, which hosts over 200 employers who you can interact with to gain a better understanding of the type of business you would like to work for.

All of our courses include a specialised module to enhance your skills on how to study effectively, secure a placement and be prepared for your future career. Supporting this, our most recent graduates have had an average starting salary of £30,000 (Graduate Outcomes Survey, 2020) with some receiving roles with a few of the world’s biggest companies including Microsoft, PwC, Aston Martin and Deutsche Bank.
