Post-It Note Poetry
Grab a post-it note, let your thoughts flow, and weave your poetic expressions on the theme of LGBT+ History.
Join us for a drop-in workshop to create your own poem on a post-it note. Artsworker Anna Loughran will be present to facilitate, prompt and provide guidance on how to write short poems.
Your unique creations (which can be anonymous) will grace a collaborative artwork, fostering a sense of unity and celebration. This will be on display in The Lounge on the day and then curated and put online afterwards. Poems can remain anonymous. This is intended to be a safe and welcoming space to reflect on and respond creatively to LGBT+ History Month.
Post-it notes will be provided!
This event is being run in collaboration with LSU's LGBT+ Association.
This event is part of a programme of LGBT+ History Month Events at Loughborough University.
