Come and have a go at pottery in this fun workshop suitable for all abilities.

Learn how to create a decorative plant holder or small sculptural object using the hand-building techniques of coiling and pinching clay. You will be using air drying clay allowing you to take your work away with you at the end of the session.

Workshop leader Jessica Cohen will given you guidance so that once it has completely dried you will be able decorate and varnish your piece in your own time. Please wear suitable clothing as clay can be very messy!

Jessica is an experienced ceramicist who has worked as a lecturer, technician and independent designer / maker across the country since 1994. She promotes an experimental and investigative approach to learning and enjoys developing creative inquisitiveness and confidence in students.

A £3 deposit per person must be paid at the time of booking. On completion of the workshop, this will receive the equivalent in loyalty points to spend on purchases in LSU. This deposit is non-refundable if you do not turn up on the day.
