Happy Mondays: Crochet Your Way to HappinessBook now
Learn the basics of crochet and have fun along the way!
***For Loughborough University students only***
Crochet is a knot-based craft similar to knitting. It uses a single hook to weave knots to create a fabric. It is usually much faster than knitting due to the larger size of the knots, but unlike knitting crochet is unable to be replicated by a machine! It's a great craft if you want to learn a skill a robot can't!
This workshop is perfect for beginners because it will show you the basics of crochet. You will work towards making a granny square. Granny squares are versatile and can be used to make bags, tops, trousers, hats, and of course blankets.
All you need to bring is patience and a willingness to learn!
About the workshop leader
