Make your very own beeswax wrap to keep food fresh for days!
LU Arts X Lboro Greens Beeswax Wrap Making Workshop
Ever wondered how to keep your food fresh without going through rolls of cling film and tin foil?
Beeswax wrap is your answer. It is natural, reusable and looks great in your fridge!
In this workshop you’ll be able to make your very own beeswax wrap which you can use repeatedly to keep that half-eaten fruit, or leftover takeaway fresh for days. This helps avoid both food waste and the use of landfill-bound, plastic-based cling film.
During the workshop, you will learn more about food waste and ways to live more sustainably at home whilst unwinding from revision, deadlines and taking that all important time for yourself.
All materials will be provided.
This workshop will take place in room 007 on the ground floor of Martin Hall. This building has step free access and there is an accessible, gender neutral toilet close by.
If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like us to be aware of when running the event, please let us know via the booking form or email email@example.com in advance of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Please be aware that the venue for this event has changed from the Student's Union to Martin Hall.
