Do you enjoy reading? Do you like to try new books and genres?
*** UPDATE*** Due to the latest Government guidance concerning Covid-19, we have cancelled face to face Book Club meetings until further notice. However, we are continuing to meet virtually. Please see below for more information.
Our free Book Club is open to all current and forner Loughborough University students and staff and typically meets every six weeks. It gives you the chance to share and discuss a good read in a relaxed environment.
We mostly read fiction, but we take suggestions from members and nothing is off limits. We’ll even buy you lunch! Note: this applies to face to face meetings only.
While our face to face programme has ended for the foreseeable future, Book Club has moved online and will continue to meet up virtually using group video calling software. A discussion forum on Good Reads will accompany these live sessions for those who are not able to take part and/or wish to carry on the discussion after the meeting. For full details of future virtual Book Club meetings please check the 'What's on' section of our website.
Members, including new members, are welcome to join in with the discussion through one or both methods. The link to the video call will be available one week before the meeting. If you are not already a member of the Book Club then please email email@example.com to request the link.
What is the next book to be discussed?
The Road to Nab End: A Lancashire Childhood by William Woodruff
When is the next virtual meeting?
