Ten of thousands of nominations were received for the annual Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe, which were reviewed by an international judging panel of experts. Hannah was selected amongst the final 30 to be awarded in the Science and Healthcare category.
Hannah completed her degree from Loughborough University and during this time she embarked on a research placement at CERN as an applied physicist. After graduating, the alumna worked at the European Space Agency as a spacecraft engineer and became passionate about making an impact in the space industry. She then went on to the University of Oxford where she completed her PhD in Space Cryogenics and is now a researcher at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory working on cryogenic instrumentation for next generation space detectors.
