Wearable battery pack created by alumnus

James Harrison is an Art and Design graduate and owner of z.B. Designers GbR, a design consultancy in Darmstadt, Germany.

The company has been established for over 25 years and is responsible for designing hundreds of products. They specialise in industrial design, graphic packaging, and exhibition design.

The most innovative product James has been involved in was for a German start-up based in Frankfurt.

The product is a wearable battery pack (like a rucksack) which can be used for powering small electric machines like leaf blowers or light electric vehicles.

The innovation is high powered and has a specialist clip-in system which James was involved in creating. The battery pack has featured on the TV series "Höhle der Löwen", a German version of Dragons Den.
