Soprano Fleur hitting the screen on Christmas Day music special

Fleur McCole will be featuring in the BBC2 musical special ‘A Musical Family Christmas With The Kanneh-Masons’.

While studying at Loughborough, Fleur (English 2003) was a recipient of the Loughborough Music and Arts scholarship programme for soprano vocal performance, the first award for vocals.

Fleur, now an English teacher in Nottingham at the Trinity School where several of the Kanneh-Mason family attended, has been selected to perform as part of the television programme.

The Kanneh-Mason family, who have previously performed at the BAFTA awards and the Royal Variety, are showcasing several musical pieces involving cello, piano, violin, and vocal performances. Coming home to Nottingham for the festive period, their unique seasonal celebration is a fusion of family traditions from the UK, Sierra Leone, and the Caribbean.

A Musical Family Christmas With The Kanneh-Masons will be broadcasted on BB2 on Christmas Day at 8.25pm.
