Teresa Wells established her own business four years ago, creating figurative sculptures out of bronze and steel.

The sculptures celebrate human physical and emotional survival over adversity, inspired by the question “how do humans behave”. Teresa uses inspiration from the physiques of athletes and ballet dancers to emphasise physical strength.

In the last year Teresa’s work has been highlighted in the publication I Weekend as part of an article about sculpture parks open during lockdown, and featured on the lifestyle TV program, Home is Where the Art Is.

The graduate was commissioned by Netflix and BBC to produce a sculpture, I Spirit, which then featured in the hit series Dracula. In addition, her sculptures have been used in many art periodicals including Flux Review, Aesthetica, and Peripheral Arts.

Teresa is a multi-award winning member of The Royal Society of Sculptors, she sells her artwork internationally, displays it at galleries, special events, and in sculpture gardens and parks.

The alumna has sculptures in permanent collections around the world including The Robert T Webb Sculpture Park in Georgia USA, Cotswold Sculpture Park, and Devon Sculpture Park.

Teresa graduated with a degree in Art and Design in 2006.
