Alumnus James Bracey has been named in England’s 15-player squad for the two-match Test Series against New Zealand, starting on 2 June.

The Gloucestershire wicketkeeper-batsman has formerly toured with England as a reserve on the winter test programmes in Sri Lanka and India. Bracey was also part of the extended squad in the summer 2020 Test series against West Indies.

In this season’s LV= Insurance County Championship, Bracey has scored 478 Championship runs at an average of 53 for the Gloucestershire County Club.

The 2018 Sports Science with Management graduate made his first-class cricketing debut for Loughborough against Australian Universities in 2016 and debuted for Gloucestershire shortly after as a specialist batsman.
