Alumna launches new clothing business

Michaela de Sa

Michaela de Sa has been working for the past year on her first range of garments for her company ohsoflirty.

Graduate Michaela has used the Loughborough Enterprise Network (LEN) workshops at Loughborough to help her to develop her business ideas.

Michaela said:

“Having an idea and starting a business can be very daunting as there is no book on how to do it and be successful.

“However, these workshops gave me focus, direction and the foundation to develop an idea and run with it.”

To launch the business Michaela took part in the Initiate fund and was awarded £500 from Santander.

Michaela comments:

“This massively helped my bralet business to get off the ground as I used this money to pay for my samples.”

Michaela graduated with a degree in Sociology in 2020.
