Supporting the #LboroFamily

We hope you are keeping safe and well during these uncertain times.

We know that many members of the Loughborough family are currently offering or would be able to offer support to fellow alumni and friends.

During these unprecedented times, we would like to be able to share some positivity with our community, as well as link people up who may be looking for support with home schooling.

Many of you will be volunteering in your community, as individuals, through your own businesses or through organised groups – and we would love to hear your stories.

Inevitably, many businesses will be closing temporarily. If you have your own business that you would like to profile and share with fellow alumni, we would be happy to chat to you about sharing a story about your business journey.

Not sure any of this is for you? If you’re a runner, you can channel your energy into exercise and connect with fellow alumni on our dedicated Strava club.

How can I get involved?

Let us know by emailing us, or comment on our social media posts if:

  • You would like to share a positive community story on our alumni website
  • You would like to profile your own business and journey since leaving Loughborough
  • You are a teacher who can offer educational support

How can I find support?

Let us know by emailing us, or comment on our social media posts if:

  • You are looking for educational support whilst you are home schooling your children

Connect with each other:

  • Join our dedicated alumni Strava running and cycling clubs to connect with and support fellow Loughborough graduates

Get in touch:

Join the conversation on Facebook and LinkedIn.

If you get in touch with us to seek or to offer support, you will be asked to consent to share your contact details with fellow alumni, so that we can put you in contact with each other where possible. Alternatively, you can comment on our social media posts and connect with people yourself.

The Alumni Engagement Team are working from home, but we are still contactable by email and phone, and we will be happy to help where we possibly can.

Please note that the University is currently operating a minimal service. Visiting the campus is not recommended during this time. To find out more about open days, events and visiting the University, please see the Coronavirus FAQs.
