Debut novel released by alumna

Penny Batchelor recently released her new novel, ‘My Perfect Sister’. The domestic noir thriller follows protagonist, Annie, and the long-held secrets surrounding her sister Gemma's disappearance in 1989. Annie returns to her childhood home to confront the dark secrets it holds.

My Perfect Sister is Penny’s first novel and she is currently writing a second.

The alumna also works as a freelance journalist, a website editor for various educational institutions and is a former BBC content producer. She is also the editor of her award-winning knitting blog, A Woolly Yarn.

Penny graduated with a degree in Information and Library Management in 2005.
