The company aim to assist students with practical learning as well as supporting preparation for the world of work.

Finance Unlocked is a video-delivered learning and development platform, built specifically for professionals focused on the finance industry. The subscription-based service is delivered by a global network of industry experts. With universities closing due to the coronavirus pandemic, Finance Unlocked realised students may have restricted learning opportunities.

James said:

“As a Loughborough alumnus and ex-finance society committee member, I was extremely excited to get this opportunity out to students of the University. I’ve been working closely with the current Finance Society committee to ensure that this reaches as many students as possible and so far, the response has been phenomenal. The Finance Unlocked e-learning platform is a resource I wish I had when beginning my career in finance and wealth management.”

The alumnus, who graduated in Chemical Engineering in 2015, has co-founded a number of FinTech start-ups and has a successful career in wealth management. He recently joined Finance Unlocked with an interest in the company’s innovative approach in changing the delivery of financial education.
