Alumna writes second book based in Loughborough
Lynne Dyer has released a new book, ‘Secret Loughborough’, based on the hidden history of Loughborough to follow her first book ‘Loughborough in 50 Buildings’.
Secret Loughborough explores the lesser-known side of the history of the town, with stories from across the centuries on hidden buildings, unusual events and extraordinary locals.
Lynne also recently took part in a BBC podcast series based on a walk of discovery around Loughborough, learning stories based on various areas and buildings, including Beaumanor Hall.
The alumna, who graduated in 1981 in Library Studies, also celebrates her love for Loughborough through her blog, which is updated weekly with a new Loughborough-based post.
