Alumna publishes new children’s book

Donna David has recently published her new children’s picture book, Oh No, Bobo!.

The book, published by QED, follows Bobo the Orangutan who wants to make the perfect pillow for a good night’s sleep, so plucks feathers and hair from his friends, but ends up upsetting everyone. Written in support of the #MeToo movement, Oh No, Bobo! aims to gently introduce the theme of consent.

Donna currently works as a children’s author and freelance writer and visits primary schools to deliver assemblies and writing workshops.

The alumna, who is married to an RAF pilot, also works with the charity Little Troopers on a series of books written for military children.

Donna graduated with a degree in English in 2002.

Oh No, Bobo!, is available online. Find out more on Donna’s website.
