Seven alumni elected to Advisory Board
The 2019 Alumni Advisory Board elections have concluded, and following a period of voting, the alumni population have elected seven new members.
Over 70 nominations were received and 16 alumni were shortlisted for the available positions. Voting closed on Monday 26 August.
Taking up office from 1 September 2019 for the next three years are: Alex Laybourne, Dana Nassif, Jack Needham, Luke Stott and Karen Whittingham. Joining them are Yvonne Lumley and Alan Vaughan Thomas who take up their second term on the Board.
Also beginning office on 1 September as the new Alumni Association President is Oliver Sidwell. Oliver has served a three-year term on the Board and was selected for the position, succeeding former President, Paul Drummond, following a nomination and interview process. Oliver graduated in 2007 with a degree in Geography and Business Management.
Oliver and the team are looking forward to working with the new members of the Board over the next few years and thank outgoing members Charlotte Mason and Jacky Yau for their contributions. A special thank you also goes to outgoing President, Paul Drummond, who has devoted time to the Alumni Association for the last six years.
