Business students hear from Managing Partner, Kate
Kate Shevack, Managing Partner of Brand Initiatives Group, spoke to 35 students from the School of Business and Economics on her experiences and roles when visiting campus last week.
The alumna is an accomplished brand business builder who has worked in global marketing and leadership.
She took part in a Q&A session and spoke about branding, breaking into the US market, and becoming the Head of Marketing at global company, Timex.
Kate also gave key points of career advice, including how to keep up with change, making big leaps, and the qualities needed for a successful career in marketing.
Kate, who was honoured for business and brand leadership with Advertising Age’s “Women to Watch” Award in 2006, is currently working in New York.
The alumna graduated with a degree in Economics and Accounting in 1989.
