Author Cristina releases latest stand-alone book
Cristina Hodgson has released a new stand-alone book following the success of her first series.
“My Perfect Brother-in-Law” tells the story of Zara, who whilst being happily married is set on finding the perfect partner for her sister, Emmy. However, keen to ensure everything goes smoothly, it is Zara who meets the prospective new brother-in-law on the first date.
Meanwhile, Zara’s former partner and private investigator, Shawn, who walked out on her several years ago, returns to investigate Zara’s seemingly perfect husband, Nigel. As Shawn spots Zara meeting several suitors, things are not all what they seem.
The book, which was released last month, has already reached #1 in Amazon’s New Release list for British Humour and Satire Literature in both the UK and the US.
Cristina, who graduated in 1997 with a BSc in PE and Sports Science, published her first short story in 2017 and has since released her Chantelle Rose series, which featured three books.
Before turning to writing, Cristina was an international athlete, competing at the European Masters Track Championship for Spain in the 1500m. She was the Cross Country Team Captain in her second year at Loughborough when the team won the BUSA (BUCS) Championships, alongside fellow alumna, Paula Radcliffe. She still regularly competes in triathlon events, working as the official translator at the SuperLeague Triathlon Mallorca last October.
Congratulations to Cristina on her latest achievement.
