Alumnus produces a self-care book for stroke survivors
Alumnus Paul Kendall has released a second book “You’ve had a stroke – The essential recovery handbook”.
His book aims to help those who have experienced a stroke cope with the emotional and psychological issues the occurrence can bring.
Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 draws upon this business knowledge to provide practical advice on managing post-stroke finance worries.
The alumnus was motivated to produce this book after sadly suffering a stroke in July 2010. During this difficult time, he felt there was a lack of self-care books available to stroke survivors.
His debut publication “The New Entrepreneur’s Guide to Setting Up and Running a Successful Business”was released in July 2018 and is still available online.
Paul graduated from Loughborough University in 1981 with a BSc degree in Accountancy and Financial Management.
