Nominations open soon for the next President of the Alumni Association

Former students are invited to nominate themselves to become the next President of the Loughborough Alumni Association.

We’re looking for an inspiring, natural leader who can take the Alumni Association to the next level by working with fellow alumni and the University.

The Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) work to help shape University programmes for alumni and to support current students.

Outgoing President, Dr Paul Drummond, said:

“It has been a privilege to be the President of the Loughborough University Alumni Association, engaging with the growing body of alumni at a time when the University and the Students’ Union are at the top of their game.

I have found it to be a very rewarding experience as we move towards being a world-class alumni association.”

The President of the Alumni Association works to maintain the University’s heritage through its alumni, establishing opportunities for them to stay involved.

Not only will our President chair the AAB, they will represent all alumni, retired staff of the University and Honorary Graduates.

Initially serving a term of three years, the AAB President will have the option to renew their term for a further three years.

Candidates who are willing to devote their time and offer their expertise and full support are encouraged to apply. The full job specification can be found online.
