Impact of donations celebrated at Donor Day
On 24 April 2018, the University held the second Donor Day to celebrate the support that donors provide to the University.
Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to meet with students and academics to find out first-hand how their donations have impacted the University.
Guests were also able to witness the benefits through a range of tours of new developments on campus. This included an exclusive look into dementia research and the brand new architecture programme, projects which have all been supported by generous donations.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Robert Allison made a speech and thanked donors at the Donor Day lunch, where over 90 guests were in attendance:
“What you do for us really does make a difference; it benefits our reputation both nationally and internationally. On behalf of all of my colleagues and our students, can I say to our donors and supporters, thank you very much.”
We are grateful to all of our donors who make many projects at the University a possibility, and Donor Day is a wonderful way to celebrate the support.
