The awards celebrate the exceptional achievements of alumni who have studied in the UK in the last 15 years and highlight the impact and value of a UK education. This year, there were over 1700 applications made from alumni in 123 countries.
Loughborough University is delighted to see alumnus, Dr Mahendra Gooroochurn, shortlisted for a British Council Alumni Award. Mahendra is shortlisted for the Professional Achievement Award, which recognises alumni whose work has created change in their chosen profession.
