Alumnae recognised in prestigious WICE awards
Two alumnae have won awards for their work in construction and highways.
2015 Civil Engineering graduate Michaela Hall won Best Young Woman in Construction at the ceremony, which took place at the Royal Lancaster in London on 24 May 2018.
As a construction manager at Mace, an international consultancy and construction company, Michaela currently works on the Camden Lock Village development in London. The project is a residential scheme which is regenerating an area adjacent to the canal and market.
Michaela is also an ambassador and graduate member of the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) working towards Chartership.
She joined Mace in 2015 on the graduate development scheme after completing her master’s degree at Loughborough.
Alumna Louise McCann has also been recognised at the awards, winning the accolade of Best Woman in Highways.
Louise is a General Manager at Kier WSP, and she graduated from Loughborough with a degree in Transport Management and Planning in 1991.
We congratulate both alumnae on their awards.
