Alumna set to release romantic novel

First-time novelist and alumna, Parveen Matharu, writes an enchanting tale of friendship and love, inspired by her time at Loughborough University.

The romantic fiction begins with a blossoming friendship between two students, one from India and the other from Britain. Stronger feelings soon develop and the couple face some difficult truths.

The Hindi title, “Ankahi”, translates to ‘Unsaid’ in the English language and represents the characters’ emotional journey.

Parveen reveals: “it took me nearly eight years to give my story the perfect ending”. The book is now in its final stages and is due to be released next month.

“I’m very thrilled to launch my first book,” Parveen proudly proclaims. “'Ankahi' will take you on a nostalgic ride to your university days and first love”.

Parveen graduated from Loughborough University in 2014 with a degree in Accounting and Financial Management.

The book is available to buy online and read via ebook.
