Emma currently works as the Senior Technical Product Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS). She previously worked as the Engineering Project Manager for Apple Pay.
She moved from China to Loughborough in 2006 to complete her BSc International Economics degree and went on to complete her MSc Business Analysis and Management degree in 2010.
After graduating from Loughborough, Emma spent a year in China and then moved to the US. After gaining experience in project management, she worked within the US Federal Reserve Bank as a Database Testing Engineer.
Until recently, she was working at Apple as an Engineering Project Manager where she has managed multiple software development projects within the Apple store app as well as Apple Pay.
She is now at Amazon Web Services where she is a Senior Technical Product Manager, based in California.
Emma wishes to improve the relations between alumni located in the US through the organisation of both social and networking events. In addition, she looks to use the example of her career path to help more international students to succeed.
Emma started her three-year term on the AAB in 2021.
