Edith Alusa

MSc Water and Environmental Management, 2001
Kenya

Edith currently works as the Executive Director at Upper Tana Nairobi Water Fund Trust.

She was previously the Chief Executive Officer at Ecotourism Kenya, a private sector association mandated to champion sustainable tourism practices in Kenya. Prior to this, she has gained over 19 years of professional experience in strategic environmental management covering various sectors including engineering, agriculture, and tourism, and development projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Mozambique.

In addition to this, Edith volunteers as a PR and Marketing Manager with WellBoring, a UK Charity that provides safe water to rural schools and communities in Africa.

She hopes to be a part of anything that deals with human development and skill sharing. With mentoring programs not just confined to Kenya, she looks to explore cross-alumni chapter opportunities, particularly for Masters and PhD level interactions.

Edith started her three-year term on the AAB in 2021.
