What is Inspiring Minds?

If you are in Year 12, Inspiring Minds is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the options available at university.

These events allow you to experience studying your chosen subject area at undergraduate level, as well as to meet our current students and find out all about life at university.

Inspiring Minds events are free of charge (excluding the cost of travel to get yourself to campus).

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Inspiring Minds: STEM

Wednesday 17th January 2018, 9am - 3pm.

Our next event is taking place on Wednesday 17th January 2018 in West Park Teaching Hub on campus (

The day will consist of: 

  • A welcome talk;
  • Practical workshops relating to a number of our different courses, including Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Architecture.
  • Mini-lectures and seminars on a range of topics and degree programmes, including Maths, Physics and Mechanical Engineering;
  • Talks on Personal Statements and Student Finance;
  • A tour of Loughborough University's campus.
