STEM COMMUNITY DAY 2017
Join us for an afternoon of hands-on activities, workshops, demonstrations and mini-lectures to celebrate all things STEM following the nation-wide celebration of British Science Week.
Saturday 25th March, 1-5pm, Stewart Mason Building, Loughborough University
There is something for everyone with activities to engage all ages in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and the basic ideas behind some of the teaching and research areas at Loughborough University.
- Gaining insight into bioengineering
- Walking on custard
- Design and sketching
- Creating electrical circuits
- Playing the piano with fruit
- Observing the forces behind movement
- Becoming a Citizen Scientist

We recommend registering in advance if you intend to visit us. This will allow you quicker entry to the event on the day, as well the opportunity to reserve spaces on workshops that have a limited capacity.
