Sport and Exercise Science MSc
1 year full-time (part-time available)
The programme provides you with a greater understanding of the scientific bases of human performance and the influence of sport and exercise upon health.
This course has a multidisciplinary emphasis providing a broad base of knowledge and skills.
It is designed as an end-on programme for students with a first degree or equivalent in sports science or a related field. It is an excellent basis for further research or for practitioners in the field.

Examination, coursework and a research paper.
Entry Qualification*
The programme is multidisciplinary and entry requirements are a minimum upper second class honours degree in sports science/studies or related field.
Selection
Confirmation of satisfactory academic background in chosen modules and possibly an interview.
Careers and Further Study
Careers in the fitness industry, Sports Council administration, Sports Coach UK, teaching, coaching, exercise prescription and testing, sports science support, sport public relations and promotion, recreation and leisure management. Other graduates have become researchers or lecturers.
