Research Proposal
Prospective students should include a research proposal of about 2,000 words with their applications.
We will use it to assess the quality and originality of your ideas, and your grasp of relevant literature.
It should therefore include coverage of the most important texts related to the research, and identify existing gaps that the research is intended to address. Where appropriate it should also include information about research design and methodology. We encourage you to discuss your proposal informally with a potential supervisor before making a formal application, to ensure it is of mutual interest.
